Spanish Courses Lodging It is telling that most of our host families have worked with us since the beginning. The families know from experience what the role of a host is. Accommodation in a host family allows you to get the maximum out of your course. Nowhere else will you so directlyexperience real Spanish life. Nothing could be better to help you improve your language skills. The word “family’” should not be taken too literally because your family could also be a single parent who takes in students because he or she enjoys the company. You can choose from a room with breakfast, half board (breakfast and a cooked meal in the afternoon at about two o’clock or a light dinner at ten) or full board (breakfast and two meals). Remember, that your hosts’ eating habits may differ from your own. Don’t be surprised that most families live in flats rather than houses. You will be given your own keys so you can come and go as you please and you will be able to receive phone calls.

Shared student flat

Spanish Courses Lodging You share a student flat with four or five other students. We always do our best to accommodate you in a student flat with different nationalities. However, the common language typically becomes English. We suggest that you reach an agreement with one another to speak as much Spanish as possible. Although the student flats are not luxurious, they are equipped with all the basic facilities (a bed, table, chair and a wardrobe). Each student flat has a living room, a television, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and an iron. In student flats there are no telephones available.
You can make your phone calls from one of the many public phone boxes. You share the kitchen and the bathroom and, together, keep the house clean. Shared areas are professionally cleaned once a week.

Residence

Spanish Courses Lodging Student residences are very similar to a shared apartment with the difference that you don’t have to cook your own meals. In this type of residences you will share with students from all over the world, which makes this option very interesting. We offer you half board or full board.
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to mix with native Spanish speakers in Valencia: this student residence also houses Spanish university students. The residence is located in the Erasmus Language partner school building, smack dab in the centre of the campus of the University of Valencia. Your meals will be prepared for you and you can choose to have half board or full board (three meals per day).
