Spanish host families

Spanish Courses LodgingAccommodation with a Spanish family is available with either a host family or an executive host family, with the latter offering a greater range of facilities.
Nearly all our host families live in flats as - like elsewhere in Spain - there are few semi- detached or detached houses in Mallorca. A typical flat will have 3 or 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and living room. Some flats have terraces; almost all of them have balconies.

There is quite a variety of host families; some are young couples, some have children still living at home, others - perhaps the majority - have grown-up children who no longer live at home, but who are often there for lunch on Sundays! Lunch tends to quite late - around 2.30 p.m., with dinner about 9.00 p.m.

Shared, self-catering flats

Self-catering accommodation in Mallorca is arranged sharing private flats with other students. Private accommodation for those who book with less than 2 weeks' notice is subject to availability.

All private accommodation is carefully selected and inspected by our spanish school in Mallorca and it is guaranteed that students will be provided with the following:

  • Spanish Courses LodgingA single room
  • Adequate heating and lighting facilities
  • Access to a kitchen
  • Access to laundry facilities at least once a week
  • A door key

Hotels

We can also usually assist in reserving reasonably priced hotels (around €40 per night), although our spanish school in Mallorca gives hotel details for information only, and takes no responsibility for the service received in any hotel.

All information about the place and the time to pick up the keys will be sent to each student by email (or fax, if required) before than their arrival. In case of any doubt or further information required, each student should contact with Erasmus Language main office.
